no real weather problems out here. in fact the past week has been the most beautiful week all year - you know when the sky is so clear that you all the colors look hyper-real??

but, it does feel that summer is over soon, which is such a shame. nyc rocks in the summer - there are free concerts or moving screenings practically every night, ps1 outdoor parties, great beaches and a general excitement from everyone. oh well - must at least enjoy the last couple weeks of summer!!

i hate the winter. jan and feb are miserable here.
i grew up on the beach, so our whole city was dead until summer, so i've always loved that season. god i miss summers of drinking on the beach at night staring into the ocean. it's the best!

best place for mushrooms is the area around bad hersfeld...mushrooms there are reallllly kicking heavy. the region got much of the nuclear rain after tschernobyl and so mushrooms are very good...and easy to find because they glow in the dark...

Word to that.

I have a cold, and I'm really enjoying curling up indoors. Hot bubbly bath, cinnamon scented candles, large glass of orange liqueur mixed with codeine linctus, the Odyssey dramatised on Radio 4. Yay British weather!
