Sonalksis beta amazing new CQ1

I was just sent the CQ1 dynamic EQ from Sonalksis, and its sounding awesome.

Its an Eq with Q;s and shapes , but each band of EQ has an individual Sonalksis compressor on it!

Not a multiband compressor, but a real dynamic EQ

That sounds filth!

I tried out demo's of the Comp and EQ after you mentioned them last time, very nice. Looking forward to this.

it seems they only released 2 plugins up to now - which speaks for a careful way of working. other companies usually have tons of bundles available with not every single plugin being a killer. i digged 315 and 517, so i guess the new one will be cool as well as it's a mix of both.

I'm still using the DQ1 , and the CQ1 xpander a bit..

but still caning the SV317 and 517 ... they are my my default compressor and EQ, mainly due to their 0 latency and the excellent sounding compression algirithms.

Just trying out the demos of all the plugs, the DQ1 seems like it would be really nice for mastering stuff.. it does really simply what normally takes a lot of effort. Pity you can't sidechain from external input though.

The standard EQ unit is so sweet, haven't really used the compressor yet.
