Sonalksis beta amazing new CQ1
I was just sent the CQ1 dynamic EQ from Sonalksis, and its sounding awesome.
Its an Eq with Q;s and shapes , but each band of EQ has an individual Sonalksis compressor on it! Not a multiband compressor, but a real dynamic EQ |

That sounds filth!
I tried out demo's of the Comp and EQ after you mentioned them last time, very nice. Looking forward to this. |

it seems they only released 2 plugins up to now - which speaks for a careful way of working. other companies usually have tons of bundles available with not every single plugin being a killer. i digged 315 and 517, so i guess the new one will be cool as well as it's a mix of both.

The Logic users group are offering a group buy on all 4 Sonalksis plugs, up to 50% off if enough people sign up:
http://logic-users.org/groupbuy.php?mode=sonalksis Are you still using these plugs Cristian? |

I'm still using the DQ1 , and the CQ1 xpander a bit..
but still caning the SV317 and 517 ... they are my my default compressor and EQ, mainly due to their 0 latency and the excellent sounding compression algirithms. |

Just trying out the demos of all the plugs, the DQ1 seems like it would be really nice for mastering stuff.. it does really simply what normally takes a lot of effort. Pity you can't sidechain from external input though.
The standard EQ unit is so sweet, haven't really used the compressor yet. |
