Berlin Funtime
Good day,
I will soon be visiting the fine city of Berlin, at end of May and I was after some fun stuff to do and somewhere good to stay. Can anyone tell me a good place to stay or which part of city is best. I know NOTHING. Is there a particular section with all the clubs and record shops? I thank you |

Good good,
That hostel looks good enough, is it in a pretty good location? I've heard that everything is fairly spaced out so should I expect lots of walking? |

For record shops, try "dense" on Danziger Strasse 28! Very small, very friendly and competent staff, and lots of hard-to-get records (both vinyl and CD). Near Eberswalder Strasse underground stop.
It's right in Prenzlauer Berg, where you'll spend most of your time if you're into bars, record shops, clubs etc (Friedrichshain is even better, I played there last week at www.rosis-berlin.de - wicked club!) |
