my weekend

yeah, what a weekend.

yesterday i had for the first time in my life 2 gigs at one night. nothing id like to do again, it was very stressful. but let me start from the beginning on:
first we did drove to dresden were my flatmate was going to dj and me playing live at a small club. on the drive we listened to public enemy and wheezers badtaste. what a mix! and we started trinking, good ol' whiskeycola..
bizarre fact: i started playing at that party, as a liveact(!). that was a kinda new experience to me, playing in front of..well..noone. actually a few of my friends were there,so in the end i did spent the first half hour making such nonsense like silly dancing and imaginary goingdownstairs whilst playing. m h was going to play that night there too. was nice to talk to you, mark. hope you hade fun with playing live _with_ your equipment(that didn't arrived in the first place). a shame that we couldn't stay to listening to you.

after my mate had finished spinning, we drove back to chemnitz there we both had to play again. as we arrived em'power disconnector'ef was rocking a good filled achtermai. great stuff what i've heard!
after him i played again my livehour, this time in front of a mad crowd,yeehaa-completely different to my situation in dresden.
what a party. emef , as my flatmate played, you freaked totally out, man! and, better i don't tell the bureau-story here
a shame that i was tired and had (and still have) to work for university, so i left the club at 7o'clock. end of the party was around 10.30 i guess.(emef you should know, i heard you 'stayed' nearly until the endhaha)

what have i learned from that night?
1. playing twice a night is stressful. you don't have that much from a party
2. always look for the persons at the power supplier then you're
playing
3. be aware
4. even todays headliners can party on the dancefloor
5. my spoken english is waaaayyyy worse than my written english

mar'what?'cel

p.s. i hope you both, mark and michael, had a good flight back home

2 gigs or 2 vomits?

Discuss.

gig - vomit - gig - vomit

or

gig - gig - vomit - vomit

?

an evening of mister vomit and only 2 vomits?

I expect far more vomiting than that, I'd ask for my money back

what exactly is 'quality vomit'?

hmmm... quality vomit sounds like a great name for a record label.

sorry marcel, let's get back to your gig.

so, the question on everyone's lips, how many times did you vomit during it?

subhead on Friday was indeed the dogs bollocks. Jason and Phil were apparantly very sound guys as well, they came back to a party and run up the largest alchol bill the Dogma crew have ever had to pay, including people feeding them Buckfast which they were desperate to try.

I spent Saturday tripping off my nut on mushrooms, I convinced myself that my friend had a second toilet in his flat plumbed into the kitchen and got lost in a door twice. Ask your wee bro about it Claire as he was babysitting me and can probably tell a funny story or two.

After that I went to the Moo where I was still a bit hazy, got pissed and watched a very drunk schemie minger stagger into the pub, fall over lots and start cuddling Al whilst telling me it was my birthday before she fell over and fell asleep against the bar. And all this is happening whilst Martin is playing delecatble tunes like the Young Ones reworking of Cliff Richards Living Doll.

Saturday night was finished off with watching Debbie Does Dallas at 3am. Quality weekend! Including me getting pissed on Sunday afternoon, watching Carry on Doctor then missing my last train home so heading back to the old Moo! I have felt very ill all day compounded with the two hour bus back home and am thorughly glad I don't have a job or I'd be phoning them up and telling them to fuck off.
