I heard him at tresor once and he was indeed fantastic - lots of bass just the way I like it. Any reports on his new album?

You can get Tiva 25 on Humpty-records.de

Can I call him a cunt since there are no longer semi-regular Sativae nights in Edinburgh anymore? :p

he used to organise the sativa parties up in edinburgh, which -in my honest opionion guvnor- was probably the best tekno night in the whole history of tekno clubbery.

yup sativa was absolutely mental, i first ended up there by accident as i couldn't get into 'pure' cos it was too full so ended up at sativa, i couldn't beleive how crazy it was, test is fantastic too though and so he gets bonus points from me for running not one, but two legendary nights

@boris bags, you from the edinburger? is your name inspired by the fine handbag emporium on hackney road?

nah, i'm not actually from edinburgh, but i used to live there about 8 years ago [fokin 'ell disnae seem *that* long].

sativa was the mutts. pure was fun, but in a "i'm much closer to gurning my ears off than you, have another sniff of poppers" kind of way.
they always seemed to go to a shitload of effort organising the sativa nights.
never been to test. is it still running?

the world famous boris bags handbag emporium, on hackney road? inspired??
i liken myself to holly golightly in breakfast at tiffany's, except i guess that should be "breakfast at boris bags".

hey! dinny mock the pure club ya bas

so boris bags, have you ever thought of startin something up in london?

these weegies don't know how lucky they've got it with regular appearances from Dave T + Neil L , test has started up again and to be honest its worth commuting back up the road for, it beats most London clubs hands down

The new Sativae is cool, but not that good as others of his works,... in my ears. its glitchy

I've only heard the samples of the new album and it sounds like it's got tracks which are more definately dance floor orientated rather than some of his stuff from Paranoid which is a bit more inrticate.

Weishaupt - did I not tell you that he rocked me senseless in Nuremberg?

Although he's also a wicked producer (Postmortem Pop EP and Plays Records immediately spring to mind) - he's about the purest DJ out there. He's the one who can get you to have a serious debate whether you want to watch what he's doing with the mixer or just close your eyes and let him be the shamen. He does things with the DJM5/600 that I've not seen anyone else do...

And - he does it in pain. He broke one or several of his ribs in Nuremberg 19th December, and still played a wicked set. I'll reckon they were still at least sore for Neue Heimat's 7th.

Serious, serious props.

And he not only ran Sativae - but he's also the founder. Matter of fact, I think he gave Cris his second gig there - at 18 y.o.

Quality.
