with feathers we can make many pillows.
with bricks we can build a house.

hard question.

i´ll go with the pillows.

i think the feather's are worth more.... both financially, and in terms of usefulness. i'd stuff a giant pillow with them, and then jump off tall things into the pillow.
or sink deep into it in the deep midwinter to keep me warm in chilly wet england.
i'll take the feathers, even though they will take up more space.

Definately the feathers, they`d both hurt but the bricks would shred you.. unless it was just one massive one in which case it would flatten you...
..................oh dear, what am i going on about. need more sleeeeep

if the pre-sentence is what type of truck truckload would i wish to hit you.. i would clearly go with the latter option ( because that they would hurt more now ).... and a illegal overfilled one.. too.. at 120 mph too please

*grin

id pick bricks. you could build soemthing. pillows are worthless, comfort isnt what life is about, progress is. so i would build, build and build.

but what kind of feathers are they anyways? humingbird feathers? or eagle feathers? or ostrich feathers? or falcor feathers?

I'd record a ton of feathers and release the album on Parlophone.

as far as which is more usefull, it all depends as the last posts have illustrated. but if it in regards to said objects falling on you which was my first impression it doesn't matter since a ton is a ton. it doesn't matter if it is feathers or bricks they both will weigh 2000 pounds. but I am a made to order type of guy, so can I have 1000 pounds in feathers and the other 1000 in bricks...

a ton of feathers would seperate and float down at a slower rate than bricks

giving you longer to see them, and run away

I was thinking as them already bundled together thus negating the separation.

hmmmm, methinks you got the question wrong phillie. ought to have been "what's heavier..." rather than "what's better...". If you're asking what's better the answer is obviously "Squarepusher".
