I am not to keen on Zack de la Rocha

I was quite disappointed with his Shadow colabo
and that trak on lyricist Lounge

will give it a chance anyway

If he raps as well as on the second rage album this will be fucking mint. I'm not too hot on the other albums mind...sounds a bit contrived.

The Aesop Rock album 'Float' is absolutely beefing.

Cannibal Ox is soon to play in London; I thinl I'll be there.

All the Anticon I've heard is wicked but I don't own any and would like to rectify this - top recommendations anyone?

Yeah I'd like some recommendations too ... on the cd album tip though.

What are peoples opinions on El-P's Fantastic Damage ?

I love the music but I don't think I've ever managed to listen to the whole album in one go.... I like it a lot but it can get a bit much. I have the same problem with Company Flows Funcrusher Plus (both clock in around 74 mins - ish don't they ?)

In fact I've just decided that for an album, unless its an absolute belter .... over 70 mins is just too long man ....

There's just too many bloody albums to check these days, I've decided to try and limit my purchases to every few weeks and try and get one hiphop, one techno, one house, one drum & bass, and one 'other' album ...

Never seems to work out like that though ...

I like some Anticon, but I find the more self-analytical, whiney stuff REALLY gets up my nose... Doseone is a brilliant lyricist and showman, but most of the others pale into insignificance, and I can't STAND Sage Francis.

The Themselves remix album is ace. I think it's out in the States already and coming out here next month.

The new Aesop Rock album Bazooka Tooth is fucking mental too, he's produced almost all himself, and is getting to be close to the equal of El-P as a beatmonger. The instrumentals on the recent single are the shit.
