dual head graphic cards
i have nottice that it's recomended for digital audio workstation
to have dual head graphic card. but what for you need two screens? can you see different aplications or what? cheers, penny |

we have two screens at work (two graphics card on win2000) for using photoshop. one screen as a canvas and the other for the pallettes and tool windows.
u can use logic on two screens etc....two is better than one ![]() |

i still can't imagine that
can you control both screens interfaces at the same time? or you just can see it? because then it seems that you need two mouses for example, but for midi control that would be great : ] |

only one mouse but you can see it all. wouldn't it be nice to have your mixer in one monitor, your sequencer in another, and all you plugins along the sides? it's really not necessary for a dual screen setup, but it is nice to have

i've been using dual monitors for a while and don't want to live without it anymore. i used to have two graphics cards but now almost every card has a 2nd output for dvi (lcd panel) - if you have crt's you can use it as a second output without buying dedicated cards such as matrox.
