And what sort of music do you dj/produce ?

Well I'm dj and producer. For the sort of music it's, for the production, sci-fi/electro/techno/experimental stuff and, for the djing, sci-fi/electro/techno/breakcore/cut-style/experimental/speedcore...

i collect records which i mix sometimes but i never play out anymore.

i spend obscene amounts of money on equipment to make music for myself but i've never had a record released.

does lack of public performance still allow me to qualify as a dj/producer?

i am not a producer, but i make electronic music...if i ever release a record that´s fine, but i don´t really care about it. the chance to make a good living out of music is pretty low and being rather untalented this idea is utopia. i will go on making music forever, because it´s big fun...

i spin all sorts of music i like, from jazz to wierd electronica, of course it depends on a venue, but mainly i play quality dance music.

at the moment i play "intelligent house", minimal or sometimes breakbeat and make music again but i don´t really come along with trends and rules of the dancefloor so there aren´t much releases planned in the near future.

i'm really just a punter. i represent my friends label 'frontend synthetics' here in london. i can dj but i'm not proactive in pursuing it as a career. i made lame music on my home computer using sound forge and reason. it's really just an outlet for my ideas but it has helped me to appreciate sound in a whole new way.

ANd records do i play since 9 years with also a couple of gigs.

BUT i am not a "producer" i do what i want and nothing else.

yeh i make half arsed attempts at making music but i never finish anything cos i always think it's crap.

then i come back a week later and realise it's not that bad, there is a good idea there that just needs developed. but i can't be bothered.

then i put together all these stupuid little bits in ableton and twiddle some filters on them. i'm sure if i did this in a club some gullible people would be impressed. maybe then i would stop thinking the stuff was so crap. ?
