Just returned from the Metamorphosis open-air festival at Mount Fuji here in Japan, put on by my old mate Mayuri. Jamie Lidell played towards the end, in the morning heat (finally we've got some sunshine in Japan). After a long night of slogging it out I don't think many of the jaded punters were expecting such a wakeup call. He's a nutcase! A brilliant lunatic!

Strange, I had dinner with him the previous night and he seemed such a normal chap...

i always wanted to get myself along to one of those mt fuji festivals, they look great.
