right-o then.

emma tomorrow i'm down in a coach on a school trip style day out. i'm not at school anymore. i'm not sure why we're going to brighton. maybe they'll set us a topic.

hmm i might stay with a friend then and come to madv. i have absolutely no idea what all that is about, or what any of it sounds like. it all sounds like health food supplements to me.

Got my copy a few days ago from that Resonance FM auction and only managed to get round to sticking it on the old platter last night - and I was totally amazed - its the fooking dog's wassis...

I do have to agree with Marolo that I find the other tracks much better than Milkman. My faves being DontWait and ErnestHeavyweight... I suspect I will have to buy the CD version too... which seems to be happening quite a lot recently... also seemed to go well with the tracks on Si Begg's new single Move Up - not that I was mixing or owt - can't mix...

sounds excellent - but i've only heard it twice so far so i'm not going to say anything deep. i love the sound... mixture.. er sounds.

doesn't surprise me that the american reaction isn't great.

the day trip to the seaside was top. i held it down on the coach thank you. the whole thing was actually like a school trip with booze (booze you were allowed to be drinking as opposed to booze you smuggled along in a plastic bottle).
we got there, had a drink, fish n chips at the regency, then i went to the record shop (agg, can't remember which one.. it was off a very small square & also down an alleyway next to the druids.. been there before.. had a selection of more or less all styles.. the name escapes me) then another couple of drinks, down to the pier, video games for 20 minutes then... hometime on the coach again.
brighton lives up to its reputation. sunny and funny.

oh & that record shop had no copies on cd.

got one of those songs in my head now ("god don't like me NO devil don't want me NO..").

if it had been made in the 80s and they were on a big label it would be chartstuff.

i think the shop you mean is rounder records

cool i had no idea they might stock it.

some of the tracks are ridiculously catchy. i apologise to all of you who might be living with max turner in your head for a week now.

we left off the catchiest of the lot. called Mac Daddy it was a track about a sexy computer.

it went :

ever get with a word processor
firewire turn me into sex professor

click on my software get on my hard disk
firewire firewire firewire

etc

all in a computer / stephen hawking voice

it was maddening but really brilliant

might put it on the next 12" if they let us.
