Free MP3s for you. Feedback is ok, rotting veg is optional

Hi,

Haven't been around here for a while, thought I'd let you all hear a couple of new tracks I've done.

The first track: 'Beat Down The Up Set' takes it's name from my Glasgow based DJ residency and radio show. It's part hiphop, part electro with some of my homemade 'dodgy' (TM) beatboxing resting in there too. This track is the shorter, more immediate, snappier of the two.

The second track: 'Ten Feet Tall' brought me the chance to score a short film. Film and soundtrack cd due next spring. The name's used in reference to my friend Steve and how happy he is with Lynsday, his new girlfriend. This track is rather cinematic in style, very long too. Over ten minutes, non cable users beware.

Anyway hope you like, your feedback is welcome. I'm writing more as we speak and doing a remix for someone aswell trying to get my current stuff released and on reputable a label (I've been signed to a small label before, it developed into a regretable situation).

My girlfriend took the picture while we were in Prague last year. I am snoozing after having my fill of excellent food beer, and record shopping.

I used the image (albeit a bit doctored) for one of my residency posters.

See here for poster

Mirsha, noticed your in edinburgh, check out our new all dayers in the pub: Black Bo's, during the festival. We're doing every Sunday from 2pm till 3am from 20th July till the Festy closes. I'll be commuting from Glasgow from my Beat doen The Up Set residency the night before so expect more sleeping and possible some dribbling.
