native moanstruments

hey all. i'm carrying hard on a problem with NI website right now and just wanted to know if anyone faces the same.

i've purchased the upgrade ed. of Reaktor4 (from 3), as they sent me the wrong package (without serial number) i got me a serial from the website to register and authorise it. so far so good Reaktor is working.

but i don't have access to the online-libary anymore and can't download the new 4.02 update for reaktor either.

whenever i log in there's this message that i have not registered Reaktor4 yet, but there is no option to do that actually on the registration page, it simply doesn't appear in the menu there. weird.

i've tried changing my username and password allready but it didn't help so any advice would be much apprechiated as i'm lacking ideas to handle that problem now. i've sent a mail to their support on monday but they didn't reply yet. grrr..

it's all ok now. after i send a second support question raising the tone a bit someone mailed back and said there was a system failure and he repaired it. phew..

cs: there are several ways of registering, postcard being one of them.

phil: yeah there's some rubbish also in the libary but all in all pretty well done stuff to get. some of the guys now having their ensembles in the official libary started building stuff for the online-lib.
and it's a growing ressource, actually the biggest reason to get me a registered version of reaktor. it takes a whole lot of knowledge to build some unique sounding ensemble and taking apart some others is a good start to learn the techniques. i'm not a big fan of handbooks you know.

well now i'm the one having problems - logging in to get the 4.02 update is as successful as it first was when R4 came out: username & pw just aren't accepted... how big is the update? could anyone mail it to me perhaps?

update is almost 10 meg, won't fit in a email

I have several passwords/registrations related to the same email (ni products, forum), it's becoming a real mess :s
for the upgrade you have to use the username/email Reaktor is registered to, with the registration/password for r3 (since - at least in my case - the password didn't change when registering r4)

thats one problem that i had cs. you can't do anything about it yourself, bomb support with mail and they will fix it.

hope the new NI site is up soon.

i had the problem before - with 3.0.5 it never worked, but a certain helpful employee sent it to me. with 4.0 it worked after many attempts. i already sent something off...

are you sure you're not using the password associated with something else (like the forum)? Anyway, I can send it to you if you like -- are you using OutlookExpress? Outlook can break large attachments into smaller ones, and recombine them upon receipt.
