This looks like the first step to Bushes totalitarian imperialist state. I'd heard that any group of people in excess of 50 meeting and listening to loud music could be arrested under this RAVE law. Poeple who have glow sticks and vicks inhalers in their possesion could also be prosecuted.
How long will it be before the 'land of the free...' turns into the land of the of the oppressed and the home of the stinking rich. Maybe I spoke too soon. |

They were talking about passing a law in England which would basicly make it illegal to sing 'happy birthday' to a friend on their birthday as it would constitue a public perormance

some of my friends threw a party and it got busted cause cops saw kids in the parking lot with glowsticks and said that it was drug paraphenalia. they also arrested some of the candy ravers there and said that they knew the bracelets they were wearing were actually codes so people could know what kind of drugs they were dealing. people are just dumb and these laws seem like a good idea to stupid people. people just need to learn the truth about what they hate and they probably won't hate it as much.

the whole thing is a joke. I thought it interesting that at the beginning of the article they cited 'buzzlife productions' as an opponent of the rave act. buzzlife is a club production crew from my home town of washington dc. they ran one of the most succesfull weekly club nights ever in america. 'buzz' was voted best club in america for like 4 years in a row by urb magazine. the thing that I find so funny is that buzz was a crack house. drugs were so rampant at that place and the main man behind buzz, baltimore dj scott henry was pretty heavy into the drugs as well.
