best cassette boy track

my favourite cassette boy track is the 'bowie' one - its soooo coooool - not only does he manage to get david bowie to sing - here i'm shitting in a tin can, but then follows it up with - and i'm farting in a most perculiar way, and then if that wasnt enough , he gets a really bizarre french horn sounding like a fart to clinch the deal....- in my books - time well spent -
any other fave's out there?

I'm quite a fan of the track titles more than the tracks themselves....especially track 99 which is called
"big, ugly, fat-necked, wombat-headed, big-bellied,
magpie-legged, narrow-hipped, splay-footed sons of Irish bailiffs".

Named after a ned kelly quote i believe.

Superb!

as cassette boy is scared of the ramifications of selling other peoples copyright material, you can obtain it directly from the soulseek server, or you could try sending their lawer money towards their inevitable lawsuit , bowie isnt known for his lack of self importance.....

my fave cassette boy track is the first one i ever heard, on the Spymania compilation CD "Welcome To Celebrity Fog Donkey". the bit where he repeats tim westwood saying "studio" and cuts it into phil collins singing "su-su-sudio" is brilliant and makes me chortle every time i hear it, which is about twice a year.

'welcome to celebrity fog donkey' is all round a good album. although i believe its 'welcome to celebrity donkey' now due to a band called 'fog donkey' getting arsey with them. i think they might have expected some comeback from disgruntled types - like the jill dando estate, tim westwood, otis redding's estate - but hadnt anticipated 'fog donkey' getting pissed off.

i spoke to barry (spymania) recently and he said they had about 200 of these gems in some dodgy lock up. i dont know if they can be bought though.ill ask him next time.

ive never met barry (barry's bootlegs), nor would i want to, but i think the cassetteboy album is pretty available...warpmart were selling it.

HA!! well, my copy has the 'fog' in the title. it is a very good and varied album. it has some really groovy tracks that i would like to have on vinyl...maybe if/when i go digital it will be easier to play them with other stuff. i like the safety song too, it's rather amusing.

THE FOG DONKEY, tHE cASSETTEBOY ALBUM & XMAS SINGLE ARE ALL AVAILABLE FROM ....

PLS dON'T EXPECT A QUICK DELIVERY BUT YOU ARE COMPENSATED FOR THE SLOW ARRIVAL OF YOUR ORDER BY THE FACT THAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO RECEIVE A LOAD OF nICK nACKS AND OTHER IRRELEVENT ARTIFACTS AND TRINKETS WITH YOUR CD WHEN EVENTUALLY IT DOES MATERIALISE.
iF YOU bUY BOTH ALBUMS TOGETHER YOU RECEIVE 2 SPLIFFS WORTH OF WEED OR A RUBBER PIZZA aBSOLOUTLY FREE.
(actually having thought about that there's no way at all of specifying a preferance for either the weed or the rubber pizza with the ordering system we have so you'll have to get what you're given - they're quality rubber pizza's though - norfolk's finest.)

tHERE IS ALSO A WHOLE HOST OF OTHER ARTIFACTS THAT YOU COULD RECIEVE...
eg. ONLY LAST MONTH A GENT IN BRISTOL RECIVED A NORTHERN SOUL COMPILATION WITH HIS CD. a GEEZ IN bROCKLEY GOT A TINY MINING HAT WAY BACK LAST YEAR SOMETIME.
(we don't get that many orders see but we're real greatful for them when they do come through.....we recently got an order for 7 albums...Turned out to be credit card fraud)

PLEASE DO PLACE AN ORDER ACTUALLY AS TO BE HONEST WE'RE BROKEN BY DEBT.

ALL LOVE...
ANNE....
