I recently changed my beans.
I can't really tell the difference. I think I should just buy the cheap ones. |

I had a grinder and used it for a while.. I thought it was nicer than pre-ground coffee but not worth the junky hassle.

You can use these grinders to grind up marijauna stems; the THC crystals previously clinging to the stems will be on the inside of the lid. So there is a point to these grinders after all. You can also use them to grind up the psycho-active outer skin (dried) of the San Pedro cactus. This means there is no need to make the old school shaman boiled down disgusto-mix to ingest the mescalin-skin. However, even powdered and put in pills the skin will make you shit and vomit. Word to the wise: dont bother. More coffee tips later!

you're pouring near to boiling water over the coffee grounds/ forcing steam through them so a little warmth when grinding is not going to make any difference. additionally the beans are already roast, again at a temperature higher than would be caused by the grinder. stop worrying, I suspect the guys who worry about the heat caused by grinding are the coffee equivalent of audiophiles who buy things to keep their cables off the floor because that makes a difference to the sound, supposedly.
