I'd much prefer more of a throwdown sporadic thing - the idea that some people have already been working on parts shows they are keen but for me, it's not really a flow based on a reaction to the parts you are given.

I dunno , spending 2 days or really polishing it/preparing in advance is like an MC going to a battle with his rap sheet in hand saying - waitaminute, I gotta think about what you said there for a few hours - can i come back atcha.

it ain't keepin it real

could you sum up what you're talking about in one sentence, cos I've read that 3 times and I still don't really know what you're getting at

I think he means that it sounded like some people put some effort into their bits. And he prefers not to.

no, he means that its like deciding before you walk into a bar that you are gonna talk about forestry issues and then walking in and steering the conversation from it's current topic to forestry issues, paving the way for you to wow your friends with your pre planned forestry issues routine..

is he implying that people had already written most of their 32 bars before they received the 4 bars before them? Did anyone do that?

I certainly didn't.

People should just approach it any way they like. Raising the issue is totally valid and if you raise a concise and pithy point then I reckon there's a small chance the majority of people will take notice More than likely you're shouting into the wind though.

Of course that only gives the people who don't take any notice the potential to stand out more.

Never return to a Steev that has been lit, but appears not to have gone off.

I just noticed a really bad spelling of the word 'probably' in that sentence.
