all the US leaflet drops..

from Protein Feed

045P [ ] Propaganda War
http://www.proteinos.com/162/war.html
A fascinating and highly worrying gallery showing the entire archive of propaganda leaflets dropped over Iraq by the United States Central Command since November 2002.

I took a war propaganda course in University- It was extremely interesting/worrisome to see the subtleties in everyday imagery/sound that had the power to really shape a collective conscious...

The medium is the message...

Not at all- I studied Criminology and Media Information an Technoculture. The M.I.T. program is what kept me interested in school- It was a combination of journalism, computer science, media studies... It was a relatively new program when I was there- The kids were all gung-ho about it- as were the professors- We studied such things as how the Internet will change law (re: sampling rights etc).- War Propaganda- It was a hell of a program.

The profs were amazing- I had one prof with whom I had somewhat of a battle-of-the-wits with for a few years... He was the one who did the war course- Also the one who told us all to write papers on Blade Runner and The Dark Knight Returns.

Now I am in fashion... funny eh?

How about you?
