another perfect example of ubiquity vs. performance. I knows USB isn't as good as Firewire 800 - it was obvious which was going to win when PC manufactureres went 100% USB and ditched all serial and parallel connections. It just made macs look niche too.

USB3.0 will probably win out Firewire 800.

This is what I feel about Firewire 400.

you was so nice looking like arrow.

It just felt so right when I got to connect you.

i always knew which way to connect you cause you were so nice arrow looking.

I always have to flip around with my USB ones.

I like it that you could become bootable Backup OS when I had the chance cause I'm so PPC.

But baby, things are just USB now.

All the best deal HDDs are USB only.

Babay, you know I would choose you if the @rice was right,

but you had to be just expensive adding that extra $100.

I totally knackered a port on my sound-card cos i was messed up and about to play so i decided to stick it in the wrong way round and literally forced it in.
Luckily M-Audio blessed the Audiophile with 2 ports.

Firewire 400, you made passing my degree a doddle. I put video or audio through your pins and you did what was required. Big-ups to the forward thing data transport protocol crew.
