Sounds good.
I want to get into some droney, ambient business by myself. I want to get into guitar sounds, but I want to know how to actually play it as well.

If we're on the new years resolution/bettering yourself/slight tinge of fantasy/doubt tip... Next year we finish a Beckett & Taylor album and then I make a pure techno solo record.

Yeah i'm thinking about trying Rosetta
Stone but think it may just be stupidly expensive, so prob will have to find a local class. It going to be hard work, but I've always been wanting to do this and just keep putting if off.

I'm also going to take up tennis, run a marathon and learn to speak several extinct Sami languages.

I just updated our discography page... in typical style you wait years and then 3 come at once.. http://www.handontheplow.com/discography/

Cris is halfway through mastering HOTP010 as we speak... you can hear the Beckett & Taylor imagineIAM remix here.

I've been trying to get through a massive 3 gig torrent of Coil. Not a good time to have bought some weed for the first time in years.

Well posh.

I try to play in proper position etc.. but it's easy to get sloppy with this type of music.. then sometimes i get to a bit and have to actually stop, re-arrange, and then carry on. MUST get used to starting out holding it proper at the beginning of a piece

at the moment i wake up, play with lili, take her to her grandparents, work, collect lili, play with lili, more work, sleep.

rinse and repeat ad infinitum.

i need to sort it out a bit once these current projects have passed.

i've not even booted windows for weeks to even consider doing any music although i still run through some picking exercises on the guitar every day or two.

Can the daddy sleep, nurse, work, and make music within the same day?
Or do I have to cut back on sleeping if I had my next-future-children ?

The entire Rosetta stuff is, I think, fairly easy to find for free online. Yer_Maw sent me a link to a torrent site that had it on it. Mind u I didnt download it cos I am lazy.

Find a tandem partner maybe. I bet there are some students/workers from spain where you live, and they very often need some english practice.

tell me about it. lili had laryngitis a couple of weeks ago, she couldnt breathe properly and had to stay in hospital. its so distressing and the hospital here is tragic.

@sniffio, it really depends on a few things, how long do the kids sleep, how much sleep you need, how much work you have to do.

at the moment lili is sleeping well, she didnt wake up until 9am this morning, but my problem is i have too much work otherwise i would be doing more music.

the grass is always greener isnt it

i didnt want it to sound like it was a big problem, i enjoy my work and i work from home so as far as jobs go its about as good it gets, but obviously i would much rather be rich and not have to work.
