What have you been busy about lately ? thread

I had been busy getting my new apartment to be furnished.

And

Getting a new job in NYC.

Got it.

Don't want to be a nose-poker(?) for your living,

But thought it would be interesting to get to know more about the other members in the forum what they'd been doing.

If I do not get any replies,

I will start a thread about parsley and walk away.

Yeah... I've only ever touched an electric about twice, and never since I could actually play an acoustic (only been doing that for a couple of years). I can't use a pick at all

Aside from that i've been trying in vain to organise my flat and my records into some sort of semi-controllable entity and absent mindedly singing that theme to dogtanian.

I have been working my same job as Graphics Manager at a small printing company. Things are going well for us considering the economic downturn. Lucky for us people still buy fast food in a recession. Apart from that I am looking for a new apartment and should hopefully be moving in February which I am really excited about. I am looking at getting a new laptop and also acquiring Traktor Scratch. And speaking of guitars one of my goals this year is to get an electric guitar and learn to how to play. I am staying away from the bar for the foreseeable future which is nice since I am tired of being poor and hungover and hanging out with divs. I am actually really looking forward to 2009 and some of the plans I have for it.

Along with the recent skills tests at school and usual music digging I completed this little box last weekend:

Recorded in my basement after finishing the user interface. There should have been even more
stuff but unfortunately my cam run out of tape. Hopefully the video gives some idea of how
loud it actually came out to be...

finally got the last bits to start building my FreeBSD ZFS NAS box today. Bought a crosstrainer, which turned out to be larger than I thought. Will need to get wheels for it so I can store it sensibly. Also, I should do a mix this week.
