I don't even know what a 'pro one' is, but I have copious experience in pouring liquids onto high tech equipment. My liquid of choice is the tequila sunrise.

Was it on when it happened? Make sure it's unplugged, and keep it off for days. Try to dry everything off that you can - but wait at least a day or two longer after you've done that for the inside have dried. If it's just water, you don't have to worry too much about any bits of fruit getting into the case, so if it's not easily opened, I'd just wait another day and then power on, see if it still works.

Water by itself doesn't break electric equipment, it's the combination of water and electricity that is bad...

The only problem is that the water will corrode the board it you don't dry it off quick.

i'd turn it upside down immediately
then try to take the top off
wipe away any water thats there
get a hairdryer on it
then leave it for a good while to make sure its totally dried out

mostly what wheezer said

as wheezer said, water alone wont dammage a pro-one, so long as you dont power it up whilst its wet.

the water wont be pure, and will leave deposits of varying degrees. if your "water" was coke/vomit/urine etc. id suggest adding some actual water to wash away the deposits before they dry on, but if its just water (better yet, soft water) then dont worry too much.

the batteries leaked in my solid state mp3 player once... i left it soaking in a pint of "pure" (ish) warter (reverse osmisis) for a week or so before drying it out. still works fine now.

had i have powered it up with the battery gunk sloshing inside it, it would have probably been a gonner.

incidently, so far as i remember, pure water (i meen pure) is non-conductive of electricity. something about covelent bonding... but that was way back. (realistically, no water is pure)

I learnt more than I expected to then, Julian. ;~)

Have another Pro One question actually, that cropped up before: is it potentially damaging to feed the output of the synth via a spring reverb (for e.g) into a mixer and then from an AUX send back into the same synth's filter input? I've been doing it for ages with my Sherman Filterbank and it's fine.

I agree with julian, put the pro-one in the bath to soak for a few days then make sure its dried properly before turning it on again..

Ok, it's in the bath, but not sure what temperature the water should be. I tried cold then thought it might make parts contract, so I'm guessing lukewarm right? Help?!
