Forum for releases

I want to post info about my upcoming release, but there isnt a dedicated area for this - unless I'm blind.

I feel the erutufon central section is for wider discussions than blantant plugs.

So I think it would be great to have a forum for us lowly producers/ small time labels to post info about our wack records! Maybe also for people to leave reviews. I've seen one for your No-future and RRR releases but I think it would be cheeky to post in there.

What do you lot feel about it?

a forum for:

New Releases/and Reviews

I totally agree... we need a seperate "blatant plugs" forum. People looking for everybody's new release info can find it all in one spot.

surely a nice idea, but don't forget that this is the no-future label site. I wouldn't be happy if EVERYBODY posts complete release info's on my label site. don't get me wrong, I would also love to see such a forum here, but it should have limited posting options and an admin at least.

i feel that this forum is a comunity not just an 'erutufon' forum. We make the forum, like minded individuals from around the world gathering here to talk 'music'. All sorts of stuff gets posted here from gigs n events to people's releases to one's pet dog names to what you eat for tea.

and for what it is I have found it to be one of the best, most open minded and friendly of forums (does that sound like an arse lick, hehe never)

anyway Chris n Emma and anyone else sort it out for da boys n Gals. cheers

btw, I posted some time ago the following threat and I didn't got ANY reaction on it. Even not a 'fuck you' or 'your music is awful' or whatever you want... So, I'm really not sure if there's a real demand for it... Atleast not an argument for Christian&Emma to decide doing it...

sniff...

Hi,

I don't know if this is the right part of the forum to post this... Anyway I would like to know what you think about our musik ! If you feel like, dl one of the following acts we did...
Ok we call it 'liveact' coz we performed 'live' at these parties, but it's laptop, so...
take an ear to the following:
http://www.klangforschungost.org/mpmuzik/ANALKATA.MP3
http://www.klangforschungost.org/mpmuzik/ANALALIV.MP3

These two should do it for the this first interrogation :-) There is some more A.l.Ï stuff at klangforschungost.org ...

I would be happy to get your reactions !!!

hi everyone

i never listen to samples and things because i dont have a good enough connection to download stuff - so sorry about that.

yes ok - the forum for release info and for plugging your own music is a good idea. someone will need to moderate it so it doesnt get too spammed

ill discuss it with cristian and see what he thinks, im sure he will agree

I personaly think it should be for proper(as in hands-on products) releases not mp3's and audio links.

or is that too discriminating. There's mp3.com and a hundred other sites for that, plus its a waste of time unless you have ADSL. I too never listen to these mp3 links cos of me humble 33.6 modem. If i had broadband then I would and leave comments.

So more of - here is my new record go buy it!
and not - heres is a sample of a track I'm making what do you think?

but thats just what I reckon, so what ever the mojority wants, its up to yooou

hehe...

good idea that! But why the limited posting option...?
Everybody should have the possibility to represent his releases in this section! Those who´ll post shit , will get kicked out...

no of course anyone can post, i think we are just thinking about making sure it doesnt get spammed by irrelevant shit by cynical companies trying to get the youth interested in their rave-product or anything - maybe unlikely to happen but we've already seen a few examples of that on this board. we just ignore it but as we have the ability to edit, i think we should!

if we really have to put up a sort of rules, I propose just one criteria: the music has to be from the posting member. In that way, it's no-future-community-stuff and no problemo. Yeah and if scooter really wants to post his stuff, you still can edit... :-) and there is always the hit back button...

Well, after a long morning in the board room , we have decided on these solutions - we wil be opening a new forum for you all to post third party but related/relevant release info for your labels and tracks... We don't want mp3 links here , just music that is available in shops and that the labels and artists have worked hard on to get physically distributed... this basically means , no demos ..... ALSO , we have allowed registered users to post PUBLIC EVENTS on the calendar .... this is for you to post upcoming EVENTS that again are related musically , and sound like good parties.... We will be moderating this feature to see if it works out - PLEASE don't post 'I am having a party round my house' or 'my mate Keith is playing down the pub' - good , reliable information only.... enjoy and let's build something good
