Oh my God I'm in shock, that's awful news. Clair, Heather, Jamoid and all who knew him best please accept my condolences. Never met the guy but had some interesting chats on here and on myspace and he seemed a great guy. RIP.

I can't believe this. I never met Paddy but I feel like I've known him for 5 years, despite me being an utter prick sometimes. In fact I was talking to him for the first time in 2 years on Facebook chat last week, he was utterly gutted about his girlfriend who was staying round his friends house, i dont know any of the details but he was pretty down. I wish I had met Paddy he seemed a real good man, its weird i feel totally fucking shocked, like its a friend who has died, u just dont expect these things, they hit pretty hard and make you realise that we should be mindful of people and things that are around us cus you never know when they will go. God, i wish i had visited Paddy and come up to Scotland, instead of just chatting utter crap at each other over the internet. IT must be utterly devestating for his family, friends, Clair, Skosh, Jamoid etc. Im defintalty sure he is in Sirius now looking down. He was a good one..

I am really at a loss for words. I never met Paddy either, but spent time chatting with him here. He really was a top bloke. I will miss his presence, even if for me it was "virtual". My thoughts are with you Heather, Clair, Jamie and his friends and family.

I just arrived at edinburgh airport and the first fone call i got from my best pal was to inform me that my friend and also old flatmate whome i had shared so many lovely times and also some crazy times esp living with had passed away and so its not fully sinking in just yet but all i can say is im devasted at the loss...
ahh dunno what to say but keep getting flash backs off times spend esp the first time in person when we were having a buzz afterparty and then after about 3 hours chatting relised we knew each other from this board which he loved... the funniest is when we lived together and the fire brigade broke down the door coz paddy tryed to boil a haggis at 5am slashed and set it on fire which he put out... but by that time all the neighbours had been smoked out and paddy fast asleep--- >when the fire brigade arrived and went nuts at me, while i knew nowt about the haggis hahaaa... i was raging at the time but after i relised the haggis was 2 months out of date it made it more funny... paddy will be missed so dearly i cannot get it to sink in yet... my heart goes out to his family claire, skosh, jamoid, operator and his best mate pudge. There was a crowd of us round at Pudge's place on friday, we were sayin how if Paddy was there he'd be complaining that it was a pish party. Some people went to get some booze and came back with a bottle of whiskey called "Paddy", we all said imagine what he'd been like about that, he'd be sayin "aye how many of you have got a whiskey named after ye eh?" hehe. Laughter one minute tears the next...

Just to echo what has already been said, i never met him either and i'm pretty gutted we never had that beer Paddy.
We had some decent banter online and spoke on email now and then and the guy clearly had a heart of gold. He was a top bloke and i feel really down knowing that he isn't with us anymore..its a terrible loss. Clair, Skosh, Jamoid and Paddy's fam my deepest sympathy goes out to you all and i hope you all stay as strong as you can during this shitty time.
