BEN PEST (LIVE!)

As a solo artist, Ben recently swaggered his way onto the scene with the excellent "Flood Damage" (Agresa EP, Victim Recs) and stellar appearances at the likes of Uglyfunk in London. He’s perhaps better known however as a member of the band PEST, a brilliantly original collective who epitomize the Ninja Tune label on which they have released: “a multi-talented bunch of varied stock musicians, who come together and produce a cultural crucible of music which happily defies any succinct pigeon-holes”. In addition, Ben forms one half of THE BLACK-E with the highly respected CRISTIAN VOGEL, who together impressed at year’s BLOC festival with their live performance of full-on electronic improvisation.

Undoubtedly a massively talented musician, Ben’s solo Scottish live debut is eagerly awaited by us – quality club electronica packed full of wonky elasticity, quirky samples and weighty bass punch.

THE WEE DJS (LIVE!)

Producing electronic music since 1992, DAVE BEING aka the wee djs is responsible for an enviable body of cutting edge electronic music. He has had numerous respected releases on the likes of Gassoline, Penalty, SCSI-AV and Input-Output, with a fantastic 2006 album ‘Fear and Lothian’ on Andrea Parker's Touchin' Bass. In addition, Dave has remixed for the likes of SILICON SCALLY, SI BEGG and TWO LONE SWORDSMEN. Recent appearances at this years BLOC Festival and on MARY ANNE HOBBS’ BBC Radio 1 show have underlined his well-earned, solid international reputation, broadcasting to many what some have known for a long time...

An excellent producer, his live set will be tough, gritty, mashed up electro (sub) bass. Very dark, very original, very dancefloor.
