just tell them
the worst thing that can happen is they'll think it's too high and won't bid |

dot set a reserve and put your opening bid as what you would have set it as.

start everything at £0.01 and never have a reserve.
You always get more money. |

I dunno, I did that for my modified DR-110, which I was expecting in the region of a hundred and twenty or more for, and only got 60 quid.

i would say... next time don't set a reserve but set your starting price at the figure you would have used as a reserve. saves you £1.50 and is much less annoying.
As for start at 1p - i've been seriously stung doing that so unless your item is in demand i wouldn't recommend it. How many people usually bid for the item you're selling and how much does it usually go for? |

well, in theory you only need two people who want it and are willing to pay a fairly decent price for it.

I got an offer for £120 for it, but I turned it down, hoping I'd get more.
What a tool. The guy I sold it to, sold it on about 3 months later for £150, too. |

Feck.. people are mad. Think of the stuff you could buy for £150.
You have the moral high ground cos you sold it at a reasonable price ![]() ........................... lovely cloakroom. lovely cloaks - barbam nondum video |

I was thinking of the stuff I could buy for £150. Hence why I decided to sell it.
