Audio samples from Movies

Are there any sites online, where audio film samples/quotes can be downloaded?
Or do I have to grab them off the DVD? If so, how do I do that?

There's loads of snippets from John Carpenters films here :-

There's also an app for creating wavs straight from dvds, but i cant remember the name. I use dvdshrink to rip the bit i want, and then use dvd2avi to decode out a wav, but that probably a really long winded way of doing it.

I use Audio Hijack on the mac, get something like that.. the sort of thing that lets you record streams off the web or bits of audio software as wavs.

It's a mate's birthday soon & he loves Withnail- so I thought I'd whack some samples in a set- that's all.

if you rip a film in handbrake as a .mov or mp4 you can then export the audio as an aiff or wav. can even edit the mov first to the bits you want. handbrake is a mac tool but a windows version is available.
