Audio glitches with an Asus p5k mobo
I've been having really nasty audio glitches (losing sync). I'm using an RME fireface which should be solid. Looking into it people seem to be having this problem with asus p5k motherboards. seems like the SATA controller goes spastic and uses all the bandwidth, choking the audio. Anyone know of a good cheap PCI SATA card, I can't afford some 100+ adaptec industrial yoke but they are thin on the ground now they're all built in. Don't want to replace the motherboard.
