I only really went loads in 1991 & it was mainly the residents Anwar & Green, who didn't shy away from some Belgian/Beltram stuff.
So I liked it!!!
Think most of Sheffield went downhill after that era.

Apart from the Warp shop there really wasn't anything going for Sheff techno-wise while I was there. annoying. Some good Disobey nights now and then but that was it.. the odd Dave Clarke type DJ gig..

those first few LFO singles still sound amazing, there's not a lot other british techno from that time that you can say that of.

& there's few old trax that punish the speakers to the same degree either.
I remember playing the remix of LFO through a PA just before xmas & I thought the speakers were going to blow.

Totally... anyone got the album handy? where was it mastered?
It'll take me an hour to find it

I'd like to think it was a result of Red Sheffield making sure all those decent studios were available to the public
