Pcp

Anyone into the old PCP stuff like The Mover and Mescalinum United? Apparently this stuff was quite influential on people like Landstrumm and Glencross. My favourite is the Mover's astral Demons. One of the most mental, darkest techno tracks ever..

Well, marc arcadipane is the man behind mover and mescalinum united and practically all the pcp releases (with a little help from miro and friends) but his recent 'ravecore' stuff on arcadipane records is really pretty awful

well I know that he's behind these projects but with the name acardipane (and marshall marsters as well) he made a lot of "too commercial" things (but's only my opinion...)

I've got the mover countdown trax ep. it's got some
sick twisted industrial/electro sounds. real solid.

you are right, most of the new records are boring
and stupid. but i liked "the metal man" on acardipane rec.
i hope there will be some better releases
in the fututer on aca... (i'm waiting
for the new "we have arrived remixes")

I've never heard of PCP, but i bought a record about 5 years ago (after digging through bins in a crummy record basement). It's Ace The Space - ace in the hole with t-bone castro. Is this what you're talking about?

tracks:
ace side >ace goes crazy / ace in the hole
castro side > wize guyz are freakin lower / ace in the hole

i never play it out, but it is a cool listen....what the history on these guys? where are they from?

@m: yes this is the record i talked about. i love this oldskool sounds
i read that marc has around 10 or 20 pseudonyms (mover, nasty django, castro, turbulence, rave creator, cypher, pilldriver...)
he is from frankfurt/germany
miro aka e-man, jack lucifer, hypnotizer is from frankfurt too
i think they live now in hamburg (but i'm not sure)

Mover is a favourite of mine.
Particularly Alien Christ - Art of Shredding (lost my copy if anyone wants to sell me one?)
Also Mescalinum United - Aphex remix, Possessed - Black Blood, Countdown 2 + 303 Nation. More recently check out his releases on Adrenachrome.
He is the master of truly scary music.

Check out the Gabbafront homepage
There's a great party agenda there...

they are also organising some hardcore/gabber parties @ Tresor...
