I've been wanting to read this for a long time now...
I loved the last book I read of his - In a Sunburned Country
and it was a terrific book...
I love books that make you laugh when you think of them
days later...

If you get the chance, read this one too...

I like Bryson. He's got a wry way of looking at the world and a dry sense of humour that appeals.
The short history was a great read.

It's funny how a good voice can really make a story..
I use to listen to a show on NPR Radio here and I would
listen to the author David Sederes read his stories...and
to this day when ever I read any of his other short stories,
I read them w/his voice in my head and it makes all the
difference...
I'll have to check out bryson's audio books too then...

I saw a one man play of one of David Sedaris' short stories and it sucked. It has to be his self-deprecating depressing voice. I love him.

the audio book through a dbglitch stretcher turned to 700% and a 100bpm echo on acid would be good

I love his voice too...I don't know how I'd feel
about seeing him in a one man play...

He talks about being into stage art (I've forgotten
the actual name of it..) while he was hooked on meth..
so it would be weird to see him in a play....
