In hexagram 39 one is blocked in one's path, but this blockage is from within. It is therefore best to try and find an alternative route - bypass to overcome rather than conflict. This may require changing one's self temporarily. Contextually, we combine rigid structure and selectivity into a situation of dealing with obstructions.
