music history
do you consider that the history of the electronic music is important for those, who are engaged in it nowadays, and those, who plays gigs ?
should we know kraftwerk, godfathers from Detroit, or its enough to enjoy music on gigs and personal players ? Er |

Nothing is ever "enough". There's always more history to learn. It's a personal choice - but I find the more history I know the more it enriches enjoying stuff in the moment, even if you're not thinking consciously about what might have influenced it etc, the *feeling* of the music as part of a rich tradition is strong.
