You know when you were a kid and squash used to make you cough? Real scrumpy does it also and Champagne is the worst (hence the 'posh' part of the title)..

Probably the sugar - sugary drinks don't quench thirsts they aggravate them and make your throat dry...

no - its not sugar... its only certain sweet drinks that do it - its not the carbonated fizz either... theres something in the threee drinks I mentioned that makes me go all wheezy... i'm not alone - others get it too (so ner JE:5

)

Citric acid or artificial sweeteners could give you that effect.....Some people are very sensitive---> A mate of mine had that effect yer talking about with orange juice....

Lemon juice used to make be do that.. but I think it was the acerbic character of it more thatn sugar, made my throat go dry.

Basically kids are fucking lightweights.

can't be it, I drink tons of light soft drinks and that doesn't make me sneeze. Sunny Delight is scary. It's like drinking molten plastic or something.
