paypal
trying to se one up and its asking for my bank details.
when i used it years ago, everything just went through my debit card. why is it wanting all my current account bank stuff? i dont want them to have that, i want it all through my card. am i missing something? or are they only using my bank shit for identification purposes? pain in the erse! |

paypal is a bank and is regulated as such, it's in your interest for them to have firm confirmation of who you are.

If I have this right, its dual-purpose...
I think there is a limit to the amount of money you are permitted to deal with before you must provide bank details for ID. You've probably reached that limit, its quite low. I can't remember if its optional.. I think so, but paypal can take or pass money to and from your bank upon your request after this process. |
