yeah, fantastic film, it takes a few minutes to get going, but once it does.. one of the greatest bits of cinema ever.
I managed to pick it up on DVD in a bargain bucket for 2 quid. ........................... "If you can't tell what genre the track you're making is you should have your instruments taken away and made to stand in the corner." |

good find. i've seen quite a lot of the old film noir classics for under a fiver here and there.
i think my favourite film ever might just be The Third Man, it's got everything great cinema's meant to have. |

never actually managed to see the Third Man. It's on my list, but never seen it cheap on DVD or on the telly when I'm around.

That shot in Kane where the camera is on him as a kid playing in the snow and then pulls back through the house.. amazing.

its an ok movie, but it pales in comparison to a real classic:
