when was the last time you had a really big shake up in your life? i mean one that brings good and bad in equal measures? serious change?

my recent shake up has made me decide to get the fuck off this island for as long as possible, which is a very empowering feeling.

i didn't had some big big changes. maybe the one when i was 30 (i'm 35 now) and decided to be a single for the first time in my life, after having 2 very long and great relationships. i stoped the last relationship not that it was bad but that i wanted some kind of changes.

I'm going thru some big changes right now...
I thought I had an apt all pinned down w/ a new room mate and she found a cheaper place to share w/ somone else and told me on friday....
and so I had to make a big decision of either paying a little more for my own place and pushing back my goal to become a pilates instructor (which means ALOT more money for me if I become one......) or moving into a much-much smaller place w/ three other girls and saving a bunch of money to use towards my accredidation and buy equipment....
I decided to go w/ the smaller apt, two other girls and my pilates certification by the end of the year...I hope I'm making the right choice...

go for it, as change is as good as a rest, I too am undergoing life changes, admitting I'm human, have faults, an dealing with them has been my main thing, also accepting there is life other than work/music/whatever.

Making a plan and thinking positivey about all aspects of your life is the key, wether it be good or bad, shit happens.

3 years ago when I split up with my girlfriend, moved to London and went to Film School. A good change for me, I'm happier with my life and we are still friends

I had a mate who went to live in Australia cos he was having a shit time of it.. cutting a long story short he just delayed the problems he had rather than solve em.. and ended up back here in a much worse position.. You gotta really make sure the problems are actually environmental rather than emotional/personal before you make that step I reckon.

anyway.. for me it was getting made redundant 3 years ago and going back into education.. and actually enjoying it.

anyway, i put a deposit down to do a cookery course a few months ago, just to teach me how to cook for large numbers. i'm guaranteed a job in a chalet for the winter when i finish it, and last week i finally decided to do it. i need to sell my ESX to pay for the rest of the course, but fuck it, i couldn't take it with me anyway!
