Vocoder Question
is it possible, say with a Nord Modular, to make a vocoder change in pitch with your voice? Currently my vocoder gets the pitch from the keyboard, but is there a way to change that? I tried an envelope follower, and also feeding the voice into the modulator input instead, but neither worked properly.
Is it possible or should I give up? ........................... "If you can't tell what genre the track you're making is you should have your instruments taken away and made to stand in the corner." |

There were some pitch follower patches on the NM, but they were really expensive and didn't work very well. Unlikely you'll get that plus a vocoder running on a micro.

Actually I'm so used to the G2 now that I forgot that it won't make a difference if you have a micro or a full-fat. You'll fill a slot with a bad pitch follower and the vocoder.. and then have no room for an actual synth.
