not to my knowledge, check the ... whats on ... bit, you will find that if your in scotland then glasgow is the best choice... depending on what your tastes are. if you meet me, you can buy me a pint.

Get a train to Glasgow, go to Bill Youngman at Bass Invaders on Friday, stay there on Saturday and go and check out Jason Leach at Monox.

I realsise this isn't much help but a bus to Glasgow will cost ye a fiver and you'll be out of Edinburger, which can only be good.

Anyone know where I can buy an axe in Edinburgh, cos attending the Youngman gig will require the disposal of one girlfriend and multiple family members.

Typical, the only time I've ever been to Scotland (other than Eyemouth, is that scotland?), and I'm gonna miss all the cool stuff. Thanks for the suggestions everyone, but it looks like I'm gonna be getting you that pint Hektor.

I heard that something cool happened in Edinburgh once, but it turned out to be a malicious rumour.

I've always wondered why people who live in Glasgow, not just those born there but all people who live there, hate Edinburgh so much and take every opportunity to make fun of it. I do it myself all the time. But Edinburgh folk are always really positive about Glasgow. I wonder why? Is it cos youse all have all the money/emotional investment/future investment so tightly sewn up, and have had for 300 years, and we can't hack it?

Inquiring minds want to know.
