good music computers (vintage)

ok,

We all know and love both the atari St for midi, and the commadore c64 and amiga for the unique chip sound.

Any other recomendations for cool computers for making music?

There is a SAM on ebay atm, which I am looking at, for example.

atari is also a gigant chipmusic editor. www.dhs.nu
many many trackers.
well. guess cubase for atari is the biggest reason why people get a atari.

then well. the c64 do have a Moog Songproducer machine/program which is for midi as well. but never became a hit.

i would recomend the atari for chip / midi use and a pc for making music not playing live with. the c64 if you have time on your hands and a amiga if you want to make .mod´s hihi.

over n out.
stright outta russia!
