[Newcastle] - Freaky Dancing - 23 Dec - Andy Weatherall

Freaky Dancing takes over Foundation for our Semi Legendary Christmas Party on Friday 23rd December

Freaky Dancing are proud to announce that a certain Lord Sabre, one half of Two Lone Swordsmen and a true undergound legend will be joining us on the decks for the his first visit to Freaky Dancing, ladies and gentlemen we proudly present MR ANDREW WEATHERALL, playing a full techno set.

Joining him in the main room is ex Reverb resident and head honcho of Adapted Vinyl, SUADE playing a full dex n Efx set

Warm up duties will be performed by newcastle's first ladies of electro, ASTRO & PRISM, returning by popular demand following the feedback from their October set at Freaky.

Long time Freaky Dancing resident KAI FOYEN finishes off the night in his own unique and dependably dancefloor rocking style.

With full live visuals from Rapid TV, and full decor, and the odd sprig of mistletoe to spice things up, this should really hit the spot.

The backroom breaks sessions continue with another visit from TIM UTAH one half of 90's chartbusting wonders The Utah Saints, resident and promoter of The SugarBeat Club, Leeds and among the finest party breaks dj's in the country... with one recent review stating that he was... 'like Too Many Dj's but better'

Joining Tim in the backroom is arguably the finest breaks DJ in the North East, PETE SAMPLERS, who's releases on Downbeat Records under his MASS moniker have been gaining exposure both here and in the US, and feature on the latest Supercharged mix cd, and is set for a series of releases in 2006 on one of the higher profile UK Breaks Labels (yep it's still a secret, but watch this space).

Backroom resident ELECTROFRIED finishes off the lineup with a trademark set of party breaks and a few classsics thrown in for good measure.

Doortax is as low as possible at £7 for everyone all night, and we've blagged some seriously cheap drinks prices for the night (all night), including £1.50 bottles and shooters, £2.50 stella, £3 double vodka & Shark (red bull equivalent)... and we're open til 4am with a 3am bar licence... get in.
