Sleep Debt mp3 sales?

I figured I would see Sleep Debt releases in the Kompakt MP3 shop since they handle the distribution but they haven't shown up thus far. Is this being planned there or elsewhere?

we will probably sell the mp3's via Bleep , that's where the rest of our stuff is.

check out the info thread http://www.no-future.com/vbulletin/s...&postid=295377 , I'll post the mp3's there when they are up ( just added a great shot of Suzy Love ! )

I'm just not down with the software behind the Kompakt mp3 shop - its really difficult to listen to stuff, and there's so much listening you have to do, due to the anonymous 12" club nature of all the records they sell there. I can't stay at that site for more than 5 mins - Bleep is much better built...

that link doesn't seem to go directly - you have to go to the Kompakt mail order shop, search for Sleep Debt and both releases appear with audio previews.

Cris, you still planning to sell them from the shop here?

I'd rather buy them direct from you rather than from somewhere else.

well, we are trying to get that sorted, but stock storage is an issue for us - in the meantime, go ahead and buy it direct from the distributor, thats cuts out one more middle man for you, and we can be certain that its getting out there..

don't you get more money if I buy it from you, though?

I don't have the cash until after Christmas anyway, hopefully they won't sell out before then.

sorry i hadn't checked back here in a while. honestly i think bleep is the better choice for you anyway. kompakt's site is incredibly slow and ugly even though i still shop from there if i can't buy the mp3's somewhere else.

good to hear this though, i'll be waiting.

they have a little paypal logo on the site, i'm pretty sure i've bought stuff from them with paypal in the past. my problem with the site is that the previews take forever to load (if they load at all) in firefox and alot of the time they just crash the browser. i never have this problem with beatport (which has the shittiest, ugliest, most unintuitive interface ever) or bleep (which works great) or any other mp3 store i've used.

it's been like that since it went up, so i guess they're not bothered about it.

We're selling through Juno as well as Bleep now.. it is a bit anonymous due to their huge stock but they offer full quality wav's of our stuff which I really like.

the Sleep Debt catalogue is now available on Kompakt's MP3 store - www.kompakt-net.de

Although I find their store software is qute annoying, the preview system especially irritating, its still good to have the catalogue in a digital format somewhere, as they are limited edition vinyls.

Cristian/Emma - I know I’ve mentioned this on the board a number of times before, but do you have any vinyl copies of SD001. While the NF shop was running you mentioned that you had a few copies and that they would be sold on the shop – then the NF website had a spring clean, the shop was ditched and these elusive copies of SD001 never came to surface.

If you have any I’d like to buy one, I have paypal, even cheque book and postal orders standing by. Otherwise I’ll guess I’ll just have to wait a few more years until they start appearing on ebay.

PS: I did intend to buy, but they never got it in a Trackheads and it came at the time I had all the upheaval of being made redundant and moving to Pompey and by the time I got settled it had sold out.

for sure. i should say that apart from the preview thing buying mp3s from them has been painless and the quality is very good. you might just need to open an IE window if you want to go browsing.
