Poppies have come to represent spilt blood, not only because of their colour, but because the battlefields rapidly turned into meadows awash with poppies and other flowers due to the blood-enriched soil.

We're about to endure one of the most teeth-grindingly awful moments of the year when Blair will look sombre and pretend to care about those who died in war... before scuttling back behind his plexiglass screen and giving the order to drop bombs on somebody else.
Someone ought to tell the heartless cunt that "lest we forget" is supposed to be about not letting it happen again. ........................... lovely cloakroom. lovely cloaks - barbam nondum video |
