Kidney pains

alright,

my kidneys well hurt. Anyone why they do or what you take to sort it out?

Drink and drugs will do that. Milk thistle exctract is supposed to protect them.

i dont do drugs and only drink at the weekend really, so i dont reckon that wil be it. Do you reckon it could be just an infection?

I got kidney stones from dinking coffee and not enough water.

They really really hurt . So much so I was sick from pain.

So as gypsy_cream says .. drink drink drink ...

i had a kidney infection very badly once through drinking.

cranberry juice, water, rest. co-codamol will help the pain if you need it.

i had sore kidneys last month... i noticed everytime i drunk coffee it hurt.. so i stopped drikin coffee for a couple weeks and drunk loadsa water. the pain went away

Coffee is shit..dehydrates the body.....I`ve given up drinkin that stuff since 3 years now....

yer well i have about 7 cups of tea and not much water so i need to sort it out, if thats the case. and eat more walnuts, fibre etc

Also the coffee you get from vending machines is even worse that instant and fresh filter. Something to do with the salts in they use.

black tea and coffee are diuretics - ie they make you pass water - which dehydrates you because you aren't taking enough water in.

avoid like the plague.

herbal or green teas and water are the way forward.

nettle tea also works like this but it is very good for you as well so drink with lots of water and it is fine.

ive had kidney stones all my life,so its no tea,coffee,spirits(alchohol kind)and orange juice...????? but ---- that, everything in moderation is ok
