this is quite a scarey one. they rekon the way this case goes will pretty much decide how/if the intelligent design agenda goes down in the rest of the USA.

I think its more embaressing for America that this is even an issue.

can't see them losing the case really, the defence has no arguments, even a christian judge will see that
plus, this is a far more clear cut thing than stem cells - there are matters of ethics involved in such research, and it's quite right that there should be a public discussion about it and regulations put in place. but this intelligent design stuff is utterly devoid of content. they basically say 'ah, you're arguing with us, that means there's an argument' by that reasoning you could say 'the sun goes round the earth' 'no it doesn't ' 'ah - you're arguing - that means there's an argument' it's like something out of monty python Last edited by bitch one : 30th September 2005 at 15:01. |

you cant just take stem cells as an ethical issue out there all on its own. its linked with abortion, and that is linked with other issues as well. just a point.
Anyway, I just wish the flying spagetti monster defence thing was something funny instead. |
