I saw it the 1st time it was on a couple of months ago, didn't they say Glasgow has a higher murder rate per head of population than New York.

I wonder if they will change the story to make him more sympathetic to the viewer. Gangland enforcer who turns on his former boss and then gets done for arms smuggling isn't exactly hero material.

Someone should do a movie about Arthur Thomson, it would be much more interesting than Ferris.

no. Arther thomson the godfather of glasgow was selling guns to the UVF. He got caught, and decided to turn grass for MI5. They then told him he could pretty much start the drugs trade in glasgow.

Two very senior police were corrupt, but not to keep control, but because they were scum. This allowed thompson to use the police to sort out his shit. like sending ferris to a safe house and then phoning the police shortly after.

then there is tam the licensee mcgraw. named the licensee because the police let him do whatever he wants, such as setting fire to an entire family and pinning the rap on two innocent people! nice. these same glasgow polis were also renound for setting up anyone they like with fake charge, nice.

I dont buy that shit about not being in control, they are all in it together for their own ends. They are not the real people in charge, they just peddle junk and shoot each other. thats all they are in charge of.
