Patch leads
Does anyone know where I can buy inexpensive balanced patch leads in the UK? Already made up, I mean - I can't be dealing with soldering right now!

tx yenerom. hmmm, the only balanced (stereo) patch lead I can see there is 9.85! I hope I can find cheaper elsewhere!
ahh, they do have cheaper ... @Steev, I saw your thread about balanced/unbalanced leads. Where did you get yours from after? Last edited by dan gulberry : 31st August 2005 at 13:20. |

I dropped the idea of a patchbay after I worked out how much it was going to cost to get enough cables to make it worth it
Bought my Pulse instead... |

Really? Patchbay's are so worth the money - the price of leads is a problem, but I can't stand groping around the back of gear when I want to create a chain of effects, so it's worth it. Depends on your setup, I suppose. I'm into hardware again now, so it's cables akimbo. |

Yeah, my hardware collection is growing again... but when faced with spending £200 on the necessary cables or get the Pulse and just re-wire every now and then... the Pulse won!

200???
Holy shit. Did you have no leads at all when you were looking to get a patchbay?! Or were they all mono and you needed stereo ones? |

Yeah they were all mono, it didn't seem worth it unless I went the balenced route. I don't bother buying stuff anymore unless I know it's good enough to last me like ten years... I've bought too many half-arsed solutions to date
