MPC 1000 for sale
For Sale – Akai MPC 1000 with 128mb Ram expansion.
Sale Price = £300 Normal Price = £650 (inc. 128 Mb ram expansion) Price Includes: MPC 1000, 32 Mb compact flash with factory presets, power lead, instruction manual, USB cable Does not include postage & packaging (estimate £20) Akai’s newest sequencer & sampler with classic drum machine interface...great fun to use and capable of producing some serious results. Â* Here’s the spec: - Established friendly and intuitive user interface of MPC series. - Easy-to-use MIDI sequencer/drum sampler offering a great alternative to complex computer based products. - Great-feeling, velocity and pressure sensitive pads for expressive programming. - A 16 levels function giving you one sound on all pads with varied level, tuning, attack, decay or filter per pad. - Two separate effects processors and one main out effect processor; all which can be used simultaneously. - 4-pole filters (two 2-pole filters) filtering for each of the 32 voices. - Two Q-Link sliders for real time performance control. - 2 x MIDI In and 2 x MIDI Out. - 32 MIDI channels. - 128Mb Ram . - Internal preset sounds in flash. - Save/load your sound and sequence data to/from Compact Flash. - Portable laptopsize - ideal for taking your act on the road. This unit is in perfect working order but has slight scratching on the front panel logo (see image). The unit also has a slightly depressed F1 button (see image – it's the far left white button below the screen), which is how it was when I bought it – I have never done anything to this as it works fine, but I have knocked a substantial chunk off the asking price as a result. PM me if you interested. ![]() |

nah... I just decided i would rather be using a different bit of kit. I've enjoyed using the 1k, but I think I will be crossing to the other side and getting an ESX1 - i need to be using something I can interact with a bit more, i certainly don't have the rythmn/patience to get the most of the 1k.
Speaking of which, can anyone tell me what type of power supply the ESX1 has... is it a giant box thingy or a nice small plug typpe affair (u know what i mean i hope... those big power supplies weigh a ton if you are a weak stick insect like me.) |
