Just house
not deep house, tech house, glitch house, microhouse, whorehouse, dub house disco, happy house, funky house, mouse house or Scouse house. JUST HOUSE. Can't fucking beat it. I've just got the Masters At Work Kings Of House mix CD; right now Kenny dope is mixing the vocals from Sterling Void 'Alright' over Fingers Inc 'Can U Feel It' and I'm getting all giddy. Later on there'll be pianos and bawling fat black women, and I'm sure that will make me giddy too. Let's hear it for house - just house.

Hahahah "Mrs Gupta's having one of her turns again, man"
Nice, Kenny Dope's just dropped Rock To The Beat. It's all about a skippetty hi hat pattern with a simple one over the top. |

Aw man, some of that Tomato stuff was good... pt 1 is the one with that brilliant 'Geddadaheredon'tgetmestarted' track isn't it? That's proper cheese-up house.

i just bought a brillzo remix of Yazoo's Situation by Francoise K which kicks the ass out of the original and then half way through the tune stops a voice speaks "Or it could go like this" and the entire tune goes into super Acid-House mode with a fantastic snare hit ... Francoise K is (to me) the greatest remixer of the late 80's - the only person to be able to improve Kraftwerk (at that time re-doing Radioactivity) - he totally overkilled his sound by doing way way to many remixes - just like Jacques Le Con!!
What about Hip House - ie Fast Eddie any body out there like that shit? I just djed in Stockholm and my Swedish mate was rockin the Hip House and I must say I danced like it was going out of fashion (oh wait, it did) |
