General

That one of MFB 502 is an analogous around computer with 8 instruments whose sound character in broad limits can be influenced. The bass around this, Snare around this, Tom and bongo can into pitches differently are programmed. Furthermore up to 72 rhythms can with necessary Fill in be programmed. These rhythms can song lofts to complete pieces of music programs the 8 be.

Business

The plug power supply is put into the energy socket. The MIDI IN can connectedly to a keyboard or a Sequenzer. One connects Out with an amplifier for the stereo. One can in addition connect the individual exits with a sound mixer. The used individual exits are then no longer available at the stereo exit. The MFB 502 can be switched on by pushing the ON/offstage's keyboard now.

Instruments

The instruments 2 octaves more highly are available once again.

Sequencer

By pressing the Play button the Sequencer is started (and stopped). With the speed regulator the speed can be adjusted. With the Fill button only the basic rhythm (left LED shone) can be voted whether be (a two LED shine) into played for or three times basic rhythm and once Fill (a right LED shines) into alternating, for basic rhythm and Fill. The rhythm is adjusted as follows:

One presses the button rhythm, this leaves pushed down and chooses with the white buttons one of the first eight rhythms. One gets the other 64 rhythms if the one rhythm button is depressed, two of the white buttons pushes, as long as. Which rhythm is oriented, one sees as long as the rhythm button is depressed. Switching over the rhythms can be carried out also live, the new rhythm is played first if the previous one has reached the end.

Programming

Before the photo the rhythm is chosen. One pushes Play after this and if available, one hears the rhythm. A rhythm is (deleted min by pushing the Rec and rhythm button. 1 second). An instrument is programmed as follows:

One presses the Rec button, leaves these pushed down and e.g. presses the button 1/BD. The BD trace is shown now. One can bzw program the odd 1/16 (with the white buttons now. the straights delete) and feel together with Shift with the white ones. One wants to program the high BD one pushes (the button 1/BD is pushed during Rec, not once but twice.

This way the Snare can be programmed (high Snare = twice) with Rec and 2/for SD. Applies to the Handclap, long Clap = once, short Clap = twice. This is for Tom, Low Tom =, Mid Tom = and Tom = high three times twice once for. Applies to the bongo, Low bongo = once, bongo = high twice. This one differently becomes pitches the distance with the Pitch regulator beinflußt.

The accent is programmed exactly like an instrument. If one keeps the Rec button pushed down and which presses Shift button, one can program a full accent. If the Shift button 2 is pushed to x, one can program a less accent.

Songspeicher

The MFB 502 has eight Songspeicher at 64 rhythms. One can have the order of the rhythms to program and to play in the account mode with that.

Account

With the keyboard song and one of the eight white buttons one switches mode in the song. If the Play button is pressed now, become the stored rhythms of the row after played.

Photo

With the keyboard song and one of the eight white buttons one switches mode in the song. After this one pushes Rec. One can the rhythm numbers of the row tip after one now. Basic rhythm or Fill shall but first elect whether into be stored. Then choosing the first rhythm and pressing the button song with the white buttons. The first rhythm is programmed with that. Votes broad basic rhythm or Fill, with the white buttons the next rhythm adjusts and the button song presses into. As the last Rec is pushed once again and the song is ready.

MIDI channel

One pushes the keyboard Shift first, Fill leaves this pushed down and pushes the keyboard, one can change the MIDI channel with the speed regulator as long as both buttons are depressed. The channel is the LED reported to 1 -16. After letting off the new one is midily channel storedly.

MIDI Clock

The MFB 502 ignores MIDI start, stop and Clock if it is put open internally and receives MIDI start, stop and Clock if it is put open externally. The switchover is carried out if the button Play is pressed when switching on.
